We are halfway into the “Most Wanted” storyline and things are not going well for any of the 3 heroes in the book. Iron Maiden (Pepper Potts) was captured by Norman Osborn and he
offers her the opportunity to get herself in his good graces if she turns over Tony Stark to him. She refuses and he lets her know that if she does anything illegal at all, he will have her thrown in jail and he will take apart the suit. Tony Stark is still on the run and has a run in with a Z level villain Shockwave, who he defeats in France. Later on in the issue Stark is trying to build a simpler version of the Iron Man armor that he can handle, when he suffers another seizure. Luckily for him Iron Maiden has decided to find and help him in spite of what Osborn may do to her. Maria Hill escapes the control of the Controller, and frees his army of mindless slaves to distract him while she gets the “x” drive that has all of Tony Stark’s most important information on it. While all of this is going on Osborn has discovered that Stark has some Iron Man suits outside of US soil, so he has no jurisdiction to get them. He recruits Madame Masque as his agent to take care of this problem. This is the best solo book that Marvel puts out right now. The action and pacing are excellent and the artwork is rich and detailed. Overall this book earns 4 out of 5 Iron Men.
Put It On The Stack.
