Amazing Spider-Man #588

am588  Another not so great issue of the book, with really rushed looking artwork by the normally solid JR JR. This was the big pay off for all the plotlines since BND and it really fell flat. The only interesting part was the last page with Norman Osborne meeting Menace and welcoming her to the family. This book needs another reboot. 1 out of 5 Spider-Villains.

LEAVE IT ON THE RACK.

Dark Avengers #3

da3  After the first dozen pages of Norman Osborne and Sentry talking and talking and talking, The rest of the issue has some nicely drawn battle sequences and better pacing. Based on the final page it looks like we will have another huge battle next issue with Doom against Morgana La Fey. 3 out of 5 New Avengers.

If You Need To Cut Back.

Uncanny X-Men #507

x507  Colossus gets a tattoo, Archangel reveals himself to Beast and his science team, and the rebirth of Magneto? Great issue especially the cuts back and forth between the two major fights in the story. 4 out of 5 X-Men

Put It On The Stack.

Wolverine #71

wlv71  Hawkeye and Wolverine meet Emma Frost and her resistance, and make it to Pym Town. Once there, they are gunned down by SHIELD Agents. This series could have been a couple of issues shorter and would have been better. 2 out of 5 X-Villains.
