We start right where we left off last time with Norman Osborn calling out Tony Stark to turn himself in to answer questions about the Skrull Invasion.
We see Stark and Maria Hill watching all of this and then we move to Pepper Potts sitting alone in the office of Stark Industries wondering why she is there. From there we move back to Hill and Stark as he tells her she needs to go to Texas to retrieve some data to pass along to Captain America. He also tells he that he needs to get rid of the Iron Man armories. They open a door and reveal hundreds of suits inside. At that point they get intimate and saying goodbye and we move back to Pepper Potts watching another Osborn press conference. She gets angry and destroys a picture that opens a secret door revealing a female form of the Iron Man Armor (Iron Woman or Iron Maiden). Back to Osborn as the Iron Patriot as he declares a warrant for Stark’s arrest and we see a montage of Stark holdings being taken over by HAMMER agents. They arrive at the Manhattan office to arrest Potts but she is nowhere to be found. Stark leaves a note for Hill on the bed that she needs to blow everything in there up. We then see Iron Man flying away saying no turning back, and then cut to Iron Woman saying the same thing. Nice artwork throughout the issue. The two press conferences seem rather redundant, but are not too distracting from the story. This book will be remembered though , for Pepper Potts becoming Iron Woman. It earns 3 out of 5 Marvel Zombies.
Put It On The Stack.
