Only time for a quick review of last week’s books since it was a short comic week with delivery on last Friday.

Batman #684

  Last Rites Part 2 finishes up with Nightwing taking out the fake Two-Face. The art is a little uneven at times, but a decent conclusion to the story. 3 out of 5 Batmen.

Batman Cacophony #2 (of 3)

  The Joker destroys Maxie Zeus’ club and Batman then uses him as bait to flush out Onomatopoeia. Fun book by Kevin Smith. 4 out of 5 Bat Villains.

Green Lantern #36 Blackest Night Prelude

  The Red Lanterns find out the only thing that Sinestro is afraid of and the Blue Lanterns tell Hal Jordan that he will be their leader. Great artwork and a great story. 5 out of 5 GL’s.

Justice League of America #28

  Part 2 with the Milestone heroes finds Superman agreeing to help them escape with Dr. Light’s ashes and Hawkman making a major return to recruit the JLA in stopping the Shadow Thief. Decent pacing, nice artwork. 3 out of 5 JLA-ers
